We hope that the ERRT WayAhead Programme facilitates the exchange of environmental information between shippers and road freight carriers, helps to reduce environmental impact and avoids duplication of effort in the collection of environmental performance data.
We are sure, however, that the Programme can be improved - and we would welcome your views on how we can do that!
This Forum allows you - shipper or carrier - to put forward your comments on how to improve the system. Are the questions asked in the questionnaire correct? Are the measurements still relevant? Has technology made redundant any of the criteria we use? Are the points allocated for each question broadly fair - or should more (or fewer) points be allocated for certain performance metrics?
All views are welcome.
However, in order to have some stability, we propose to make any necessary changes to the Programme only once every year taking in all comments posted during the year and making any improvements in December.
